Situated at the peaceful Telaga Harbour, Golden Wok lures with dreamlike marina views with white sails of luxury yachts proudly glistening against the backdrop of hills overgrown by dense jungle. Red Chinese lanterns dangling between shade-giving palm trees create an exotic atmosphere, giving away that the restaurant is run by a Chinese family.

Keeping with the marine theme, Golden Wok specializes in live seafood cuisine, featuring large aquariums that teem with snappers, dragon groupers, giant prawns and colorful crabs. With all dishes prepared personally by the owner, Mr. Lao Wah Chong, who used to delight guests at 5* resorts, the food is simply delicious!

Begin your dining experience with the spicy Tom Yam soup served in a clay pot. Savor a lobster or tiger prawns grilled in butter with garlic and chili - best accompanied by pineapple fried rice and baby kailan fried in oyster sauce. Hidden behind Petronas, the Maharaja Restaurant is somewhat of a secret when it comes to choosing a dining venue in the Pantai Kok area. Overlooking the picturesque Perdana Quay built in Mediterranean style and the Telaga Harbour with white sails of luxury yachts glistening against the emerald green Andaman Sea, the restaurant lures with dreamlike vistas. The outdoor patio is surrounded by tropical plants that further highlight the romantic atmosphere. The air-conditioned indoors with adjustable partitions are very popular among Arabic guests in quest of privacy.

Celebrating the marine theme, the restaurant serves wonderfully prepared seafood from sea bass to prawns, lobster and hummer. Large part of the menu is

dedicated to North Indian cuisine with many vegetarian options. Available are also Arabic specialties and western fare.

Situated in Oriental Village, Laila’s Kebab House is the perfect place to enjoy lunch prior to a cable-car ride or to have a lovely dinner after a hike to the Seven Wells Waterfalls.

 

Built in the Mughal style, an amalgam of Islamic, Pakistani, Arabic and Iranian architecture, the restaurant lures with volcano-stone pillars, enchanting arches and the soothing melody of water running down a multi-tiered fountain.


Surrounded by ‘The flame of the rainforest’ trees, the courtyard provides a lovely setting for an al-fresco dining experience. Decorated with antique Persian leather-paintings and illuminated by a crystal

chandelier, the air-conditioned indoors boast a VIP table designed to accommodate parties of 10 as well as smaller tables for couples and families.

 

Popular especially among Arabic and Russian guests, the restaurant specializes in Arabic, Pakistani and Iranian cuisine.
